There is something unusual about this that makes me love it!!
I’m glad the image fits! I have a hard time finding good images on my computer to use nowadays. Need to take more photos so I have more to chose from :p
I’m glad you could connect to the poem and found it gorgeous. I find that it can truly describe the journey of an author in the barren wastes of his own mind.
I feel very much connected to this.I feel that it is myself crossing the dessert, longing, yearning for that bit of calm and he blissful oblivion.Somehow, both the image and the words tend to resonate in the mind over and over again………..
It makes me so happy to hear that you can connect with my words! That is, after all, why I write – to resonate with other people and their feelings. Writing is a difficult art to master. I am glad some of my pieces become meaningful in the eyes of my readers 🙂 Thank you for your comment!

Thank you! 😀 Yes it is quite unusual. It’s a compact description of a vivid scene in my mind. Sometimes less is more 🙂

Dear Mr. Hakansson,
My friend – You write about me. In the sense that all great poets and writers speak to their authors specifically. Gorgeous. And timeless.
Yours sincerely,
Adam Irish
Thank you so much Adam!
