F H Hakansson
Fredrik H Håkansson was born and raised in a small and idyllic town called “Ystad” located in the south of Sweden. Despite constantly drawing his own comics, scripting his own computer games, and writing very long “short” stories, becoming an author was never something he considered as a child. Instead, he wanted to become a geneticist. It was not until high school I realised biology was not for him (mainly because his biology teacher was the first person to ever bore him to sleep during class.) If he were not to study science, what would he do with his life? It did not take long before he found the answer to that question.
After attending the IB programme at Malmö Borgarskola, Fredrik moved to the UK where he got his BA in English with Creative Writing at the University of Birmingham and later an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Manchester. Today, Fredrik divides his time between whatever writing project that catches his fancy and managing his real estate company.
