  2. I like the rhythm here. I found myself stressing the first words of each line, thus making those words the center of attention in the poem: cold, servos, explosion, shrieking, man. I agree with Eliza, very dystopian indeed.

    1. That’s a good observation! Didn’t think about that when I wrote it. I often write dystopian prose so it was quite fun for me to write a poem like this, even if the horror of the post-apocalyptic is not as apparent in a poem as in prose.
