A Tribute to Summer
Beneath Summer’s Glow
A Firefly found Serenity.
But the cruel Fox deceived,
and ate the fly whole.
Summer faded as night turned cold,
and winter grabbed hold.
But she rose once more,
a machine defying time.
Yet her rays were not enough,
to keep her new heart running,
and the Fox struck again,
tearing her flesh from metal.
What remains of this Summer’s glow,
remains unknown,
but she’s fading fast –
Her best time had already come.
